When installing Windows xp SP2 32 bit on core I5 processor with Intel DH61WW motherboard based assembled computer, an error comes when booting form a Windows xp SP2 32 bit bootable disk. Its the memory dump error or some times called the blue screen error.time
Windows 7 has got no issue in that case, OS installs nicely without any error.
To resolve the problem and install windows xp32 bit on Core i5 processor with intel original motherboard :
- Go to bios
- Head on the Configuration
- Using Arrow keys come to SATA Drives and press enter
- Move to chipset SATA mode
# Default will be AHCT { Advance SATA feature not supported by Windows XP }
# Change it to IDE
Your problem will be solved 100%.
